I had a pleasant stay at River Bend's Walleye Inn. The room was clean and quiet, which made for a relaxing experience, though the lack of Wi-Fi was a downside during my time there. I appreciated the unique cement construction that added to the soundproofing, and the breakfast options were decent. Overall, a good spot if you're looking for a peaceful getaway. 😊

The room I stayed in was clean and had a thick carpet, which was more comfortable than many hotels I've visited. However, I missed having a TV in the bedroom for a bit of entertainment after a long day.
Service

The staff were friendly and accommodating during my stay. They offered a nice breakfast selection, though I didn't take advantage of it. Unfortunately, they struggled with the Wi-Fi issue throughout my visit.

The hotel's location was peaceful, with very little noise inside. I could hear some sounds from the park outside, but it wasn't distracting.

My stay at River Bend's Walleye Inn was mostly enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly and eager to help, which made a great impression. However, I did face some issues with the room's comfort and internet connection that detracted from the experience.

My recent stay at River Bend's Walleye Inn was a mixed bag. The room was clean and had some handy amenities, but I encountered a few issues that dampened the experience. Breakfast left much to be desired, and I felt a bit uncomfortable regarding the service dog policy.
Rooms

The room was overall clean, featuring a mini fridge and microwave, but there were some odd dips in the shower that made water pool. This made it a bit uncomfortable for me.

The counter staff member was a bit curt, and I felt some unease regarding the service dog policy. It was handled, but I sensed some hesitation.

The motel is conveniently located on the west side of town, making it easy to access local attractions. Just a heads up though, it's best not to clean fish in your room.
Dining

Breakfast was included, but it was quite lackluster. Cold boiled eggs in a community bowl were not very appealing.

I appreciated the variety of cable channels available, particularly some unique stations I'd not seen elsewhere, which was a nice surprise during my stay.

My stay at River Bend's Walleye Inn was disappointing, primarily due to service issues and room quality. While the location seemed convenient, the overall experience was marred by uncomfortable beds and lack of attention from staff. I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.
Rooms

The room was not as advertised, with two uncomfortable full beds instead of queens and a broken hide-a-bed. There were metal parts sticking out that caused a painful incident for my son.
Service
5.0
Service was lacking, especially during the checkout process where I felt ignored and unsupported. The staff's response to my issues in the room was disheartening.
Location
5.0
The location seemed good for accessing local attractions, though it didn’t help make up for the poor experience I had at the inn.
Dining

Breakfast was unsatisfactory; I encountered an unappetizing situation with the gravy that left a lot to be desired. The staff appeared annoyed rather than helpful.
Facilities

The facilities felt outdated and not well maintained, which contributed to a frustrating stay for me.

On one hand, the hotel managed to accommodate my last-minute change of plans due to rain, and I appreciated the mini fridge and microwave in the room. On the other hand, the breakfast options were disappointing, and there were some issues with service that left me frustrated.
